《疼痛餐盤》聚焦於外貌焦慮所帶來的心理狀態與身體經驗，描繪人在自我凝視之下，於焦慮、暴食與再次焦慮之間反覆循環的狀態。作品以慢快門的攝影方式，模糊並柔化進食過程中原本粗暴、失控甚至帶有羞恥感的行為，使其轉化為介於美感與疼痛之間的視覺景象。

作品試圖將那些難以被直視的情緒與慾望重新顯影，讓觀看者在柔軟而曖昧的影像之中，感受到焦慮所伴隨的脆弱、壓抑與矛盾性。那些看似美麗的畫面，同時也承載著無法被輕易消化的痛苦。

A Plate of Pain explores the psychological and physical experiences associated with appearance anxiety, portraying a repetitive cycle in which anxiety leads to binge eating, only to generate further anxiety in return. Through the use of slow shutter photography, the work softens and blurs behaviors that are often perceived as rough, uncontrolled, or shameful, transforming them into images that exist between beauty and pain.

The work attempts to reveal emotions and desires that are often difficult to confront directly. Within these soft and ambiguous images, viewers may sense the vulnerability, repression, and contradictions embedded within anxiety itself. The imagery appears visually alluring, yet simultaneously carries a form of pain that cannot be easily consumed or resolved.
